Non coring bit

No Coring Bits are used to drill a hole without producing a core.

Generally application fields are geotechnical, geophisical and costruction.

No Coring Bits are used to drill holes which do not require to recover the core. No Coring Bits represent a valid alternative to roto-percussion drilling whith down hole or top hammer. Diamond No coring Bits drill only in rotation, whithout percussion, guaranteeing greater straightness of the hole and an advantage in economic terms, sine compressed air is not needed. The main application of these tools is for consolidation whit mortars or resin injection and for geothermal wells realization.

Nexus no coring bits are produced on request and are available with PCD technology in concave profile version. These tools are suitable for small diameter drilling (from Ø30 mm to Ø150 mm) and their profile is designed to maintain an high degree of staightness by minimizing hole deviation. Depending on drilling diameter and material to be drilled, PCD no coring bits are available with PCD Ø 8 mm and Ø13 mm.

Nexus no coring bits are produced on request and are available with PCD technology in balistic (wings) profile version and matrix body. These tools are suitable for drilling non-homogeneous materials and their profile is designed to ensure a high drilling fluid rate in order to allow an high evacuation capacity of debris even of coarse size. Depending on drilling diameter and material to be drilled, PCD no coring bits are available with PCD Ø 8 mm, Ø10 mm and Ø13 mm.

 

Nexus no coring bits are produced on request and are available in surface set technology with concave profile. Concave profile guarantees a better control on hole staightness. These tools are suitable for medium-small diameter perforation (from Ø30 mm to Ø 100 mm) in medium hard materials. According to the drilling diametre and the material to be drilled, syntetic or natural diamonds surface set no coring bits are realized with different diamond size: 40/50; 30/40; 20/30; 8/15 spc.

Nexus no coring bits are produced in request and are available in impregnated technology. These tools, suitable for drilling hard materials, require a high rotational speed. Bit center infect works with a peripherical speed that tends to zero, and it generates premature wear in that area. The convex profile guarantees a more equilibrated wear of the impregnated part having a greater impregnation height towards the cente of the tool.
